Caring for a new puppy isn’t always easy, but we believe finding a responsible breeder you trust should be. We want to raise a happy, healthy pet you and your family can cherish, and we also want to make sure our pets are placed in homes where they will thrive, which is why we have an application process in place for each adoption. Our adoption process is thoughtfully designed to take you from application to puppy ownership with as little stress and as much joy as possible!

TEN- YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE
Building our program with outstanding breeding dogs is a great start, but there is a lot more that goes into raising an exceptional puppy. Your pup will follow Puppy Culture and BAB curriculum starting at 3 days old and continue until they join you in your home at 8 weeks old. Our “puppy Pre-K” includes Early Neurological Stimulation, desensitization to loud noises, and plenty of activities and socialization experiences designed to help puppies become brave and confident. Pups also begin potty training and crate training. We raise our pups in a way that empowers them to transition readily to your home.

As added assurance, we now offer a ten-year health guarantee with each puppy, provided that the written agreement for puppy care between the breeder and new owner is followed. This guarantee covers life-threatening congenital and genetic defects, as well as debilitating diseases. Here’s how it works:

Years 1-2: Enjoy a 100% credit of the purchase price towards a new Apricot Roots Doodles puppy.

Years 3-4: Receive a 50% credit of the purchase price towards a new Apricot Roots Doodles puppy.

Years 5-7: Benefit from a 30% credit of the purchase price towards a new Apricot Roots Doodles puppy.

Years 8-10: Get a 20% credit of the purchase price towards a new Apricot Roots Doodles puppy.
Credits are valid for up to 2 years from the issue date.

Your new puppy will have received their age-appropriate vaccinations and de-worming, as well as a physical examination by a certified Veterinarian. Each puppy will be required to have a follow-up check-up by your veterinarian within 72 hours of going home in order to validate the health guarantee.

To further ensure your puppy's health, we provide 30 days of complimentary Trupanion insurance for all new puppy owners. This offer must be activated prior to, or within 24 hours of, bringing your puppy home to ensure immediate coverage. The Buyer must maintain Pet Insurance for the first six months for the health guarantee to remain valid.

Your puppy's diet is crucial to their overall well-being and longevity. We strongly encourage you to feed your puppy TLC Whole Life or TLC Puppy food. We believe in the quality of this food so much that it is an integral part of our health guarantee. Failure to provide the recommended high-quality food voids the warranty. The Buyer must provide proof of purchase (using our purchasing code) to show regular feeding of TLC.

Puppies that are sold as pets will go to their new homes on a spay/neuter contract, and are expected to be spayed or neutered by twelve months of age.

Our support does not end when your puppy leaves our home. We are happy to provide lifetime support with each of our puppies and help in any way that we can.

We understand that purchasing and caring for a dog is a significant investment. At Apricot Roots Doodles, we have made significant investments as well in our superior breeding dogs, our extensive health testing, and in our puppy development programs. We ensure each dog is happy, healthy, and well-adjusted, so you can invest confidently in your new companion.
We know that finding the perfect puppy can be a challenge, which is why Apricot Roots Doodles simplifies the process for you. We thoroughly vet our breeding lines to ensure that each litter has the best possible chance of producing healthy and happy puppies. We consistently strive for excellence in everything we do, and our puppies are no exception. Once you've decided on the litter that is perfect for you, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due, with the final payment (plus any delivery/transport fees if applicable) due at time of pick or 48 hours prior to delivery.
