Puppy Reservations Made Simple
We’re simplifying our process for 2026 — no more waitlists!
Instead of maintaining a waitlist, families are encouraged to submit an application in advance and then place a deposit on a specific puppy once puppies are posted and reservations open.
How Our New Process Works
-
Submit an Application
Families are welcome to apply at any time. Applying early ensures you’re approved and ready when reservations open.
-
Puppies Are Posted
After puppies are born and evaluated, we’ll post them on our website with photos, names, and detailed information.
-
Reservations Open
When reservations open, approved families may notify us which puppy they’d like to reserve. Reservations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
Deposit Invitation
We’ll send an invitation to place a deposit on the puppy of your choosing.
-
Puppy Reserved 🐾
Once your deposit is received, your puppy is officially reserved for you—provided the puppy is still available at the time the deposit is received.
As part of this application, we ask that you agree to the following statements & conditions:
I understand that purchasing a puppy is a 12-15 year commitment. If for any reason I can no longer keep my Apricot Roots Doodle, one condition of sale, is that I must first contact Apricot Roots Doodles (ARD) to discuss options for rehoming and ARD must be given the option of taking the dog back. ARD is happy to work with owners if they have a home in mind, but we never want to see one of our puppies end up in a shelter.
I understand that ARD reserves the right to hold back potential breeding dogs that exhibit the traits needed to enhance the Doodle breed and our program.
I understand that all of ARD's puppies are sent home on a strict spay/neuter contract. ARD requires this procedure to be performed by 12 month of age. This is non-negotiable.
I have answered all of the above questions fully and truthfully.
I acknowledge that Apricot Roots Doodles has the right to refuse to sell to me at any time.
I understand that I will need to submit a $500 reservation deposit to hold a specific puppy on a specific litter.
I further understand that the deposit will be applied towards the total price of my Reserved puppy, and is non-refundable unless we determine that we cannot meet your requests.
Thanks for submitting an application!
